Chapter Seven - The Fortune
We ran through the sand dunes. I was behind as the monk was leading the way.
“Not far now” advised the monk.
We walked a little further and the monk called excitedly, “It’s just here.”
He stopped a few metres away and when I got there, I saw the keyhole. It had the same markings
as the key. I placed the key into the keyhole and turned. The ground began to rumble and a
staircase appeared. We walked down the stairs very quickly into a cavernous room. It was filled
with gold!
And that’s how I became famous.
