Max was focusing on his friend’s pet snow leopard, Rover. It just didn’t feel right. He thought
he felt steel under Rover’s fur. Suddenly, Rover’s eyes grew red. His eyes were glowing red. As
it was starting to get dark, the eerie glow of Rover’s eyes was becoming the only light that the
people can see. Suddenly, a voice came out from Rover, “WARNING: SYSTEM MALFUNCTION!!!!!”
Then, Rover’s eyes turned blue. He started to talk, “Hello Max. I am your grandfather.”
“And then your grandfather got the body of a snow leopard. But, as he is half robotic, things
didn’t go very well. Your grandfather went out of control and escaped from our lab. Fortunately,
his brain and his heart and other important organs are still human.” Just then, Max and “Rover”
arrived. “I know, Dad. I know. Adam is my brother.”
And they had their first and happiest family reunion ever.
