C
ooler temperatures and near-daily shopping bazaars can only mean one thing: the festive
season is here! We’re still basking in the
celebration
of our ten-year anniversary last
month, and I can’t think of a better way to usher in more parties and holidays. Regardless
of which holidays your family will be celebrating in these coming months, it seems like all
religions
and cultures
will be celebrating with feasts. And that’s why, this month, we bring you our food
and dining issue.
Have past disasters left you dreading
dining out with your little ones
in tow?
Self-described “recovering yeller”, Amy McCready, can help. We’re delighted that she took time out
between appearances on television shows like
The Today Show
and
Rachel Rae
,
and writing articles
for
The New York Times
and
Huffington Post
,
to share her tips with
Playtimes
.
Do you have a
budding chef at home?
We’ve got tips and recipes for cooking with your
little one and cultivating their culinary curiosity. And, are you tired of puréeing your baby’s every
meal? Perhaps
baby-led weaning
is the answer. Learn all about it inside.
In the midst of all the celebrating, with a bit of sadness the
Playtimes
team must bid a fond
farewell to our Wendy Clarke. Wendy and I started at
Playtimes
at the same time, in the summer
of 2010, and I’ve counted on her
friendship
for all of those days. She’s been a driven and
committed salesperson, and we’re sad to see her go. But, we wish her all the best on her new
adventure
and know that she’ll be successful.
As I get ready to head back to the US for some
Christmas cheer
with my family, I wish
you and yours the happiest of holidays, however and wherever you’ll be spending them.
