You will need
•
Heavy paper, or cardboard
•
Scissors
•
Aluminium foil
•
Paint and paintbrush
•
Cotton bud
•
Paper clip
•
Ribbon or pipe cleaner
Visit the Craft Box website
to select a
template that you like. Print the
template and cut it out.
Place the template onto the heavy
paper or cardboard and trace
around it. If you prefer to draw your
own template, feel free to skip these
first two steps.
Cut the newly drawn bauble out of
the heavy paper or cardboard.
Use aluminium foil to cover the bauble.
Make the foil as smooth as possible
and tear away any excess foil.
The foil will be smoother on one side.
On the smooth side, paint over the
foil. Leave the paint to dry a bit.
When the paint is nearly dry, use a
cotton bud to wipe away some paint
to reveal the foil below.
Use a paper clip to poke a small
hole at the top the bauble. Insert a
ribbon or pipe cleaner and hang it
wherever you’d like to spread a little
Christmas cheer.
The kids can make their own Christmas
baubles with these instructions from
Craft Box
