The International Montessori School
(
IMS) has been
unanimously approved by the IMC Accreditation
Board to be an IMC-accredited Montessori School, the
only one in Greater China. This recognition further
endorses their mission to deliver an authentic Montessori education, with high academic
standards and a strong emphasis on dual-language learning. The growth of IMS, one of
the largest Montessori schools in the world, has raised local awareness of Montessori and
provided an opportunity for Hong Kong children to benefit from a Montessori primary
education. Visit IMS at 62 Tin Hau Temple Road, Tin Hau, or go to

In 2010, the
Hong Kong Music Academy
(
HKMA) established the HKMA String
Orchestra and the HKMA Symphony
Orchestra. In 2012, they launched
the Bright Beginners Chamber (BBC)
to cater for kids with little or no
experience of playing music together.
The various orchestras are tailored for
different levels of players, where each
player has performance opportunities
to maximise their on-stage experience
and share the fun of music with others.
HKMA, 8/F, Wai Hing Building, 146
Prince Edward Road West, Kowloon,
encourages members to bring music
to the community and also provides

football
Over 30,000 kids worldwide are enjoying the
Little Kickers
experience. The programme
was developed by a group of Football
Association-qualified coaches and early
childhood development specialists. Rather
than focusing purely on football, the
structured activity programme incorporates a number of
early learning goals, such as following instructions, teamwork and sharing.
Classes also enable children (18 months to seven years) to develop agility,
coordination, balance and confidence, whilst providing them with a positive
and fun introduction to sport. To sign up for a free trial class on 26 January
