fter relocating from the US
almost three years ago,
writer, blogger and charity
worker Natasha, her husband
and six-month-old son now call Hong
Kong home. Based at the Peak in an old
colonial-style building, Natasha loves the
view from her apartment.
The Hong Kong harbour is
enchanting and I love taking walks in the
rainforest just outside. I also really love
the tall ceilings, the wide metal-framed
windows and the little historical touches
like the moulding,” she says. “I really love
the big, open living room. We’ve had
so much fun entertaining our friends in
this room, and it’s where we spend the
majority of our time hanging out. One
thing we don’t have in here is a television.
I think it adds to the aesthetic and we
really haven’t missed it,” says Natasha.
When it comes to interiors, blogs
definitely inspire her. Natasha’s go-to
sites are Sixth Street Design School,
Sacramento Street, StephModo and
Camille Styles. When not writing,
volunteering at Vision First (a charity
for refugees in Hong Kong) or looking
after her son, Natasha chronicles their
adventures in Asia on her blog,

inviting, with wallpaper designed by Clarke
&
Clarke’s, Globetrotters. The space is playful
and happy, and mixes Natasha’s love of good
design and relaxed attitude. The hand-knitted
rug on her son’s cot is another talent she uses in
her work with women at Vision First.

space. Natasha sourced this cool gold-backed
wallpaper with monkeys from Cole and Son.
