Choc-o-nut Shake
Equipment needed: high-speed blender
Makes 5 cups
Ingredients
• 4
cups hazelnut milk, chilled (See the recipe on the right if you’d
like to make your own.)
• ½
cup cacao powder
• ¼
cup cacao butter, finely grated
• 3
soft Medjool dates, pitted
• 1 ½
Tbsp lecithin (non-GMO)
• ½
tsp vanilla extract
• 18
drops vanilla liquid stevia
•
Pinch high mineral raw salt
• 1
avocado, chopped
Method
•
In a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients except the
avocado until creamy smooth.
•
Add the avocado and continue blending until well incorporated
and smooth. Pour into your favourite smoothie cups or glasses,
and enjoy.
•
This shake will store well overnight in the refrigerator in an airtight
glass container.

whole vanilla bean, chopped (or use 1 tsp vanilla extract)

Method
•
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
•
Pour out into a nut milk bag fitted inside a glass jug or bowl
and gently squeeze out your fresh milk.
