Mishi was born and raised in London. The middle of three siblings, she had a wonderfully happy childhood and enjoyed reading, travelling, writing and music. Mishi qualifed as a dentist from Guy’s Hospital, and has since been in practice in

London. She has always had a passion for children’s dentistry and has spent time providing dental education in schools, as well as being a dental advisor for a well-known health and beauty website. Having a love for Asia, Mishi realised her dreams when she moved to Hong Kong with her husband and young son in 2010. She enjoys being a full-time mum, as well as writing, photography and alternative health practices.

Kylie is an early childhood educator who was born in Melbourne, Australia. She grew up listening to kookaburras, riding billycarts, collecting gum nuts and wanting to be a member of the Young Talent Time team. She also dreamed of living in the “Faraway Tree” and visiting the

“Land of Goodies.” After graduating from university with three degrees, including a master’s in education, Kylie began her teaching career in Darwin, where she taught at primary and secondary levels. Aside from being a teacher, Kylie is also a freelance writer and has written for numerous publications in the UK, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, on topics including education, health and environmental awareness. In her spare time, Kylie enjoys Pilates, yoga and going to the Hong Kong Ballet. One day she plans on sailing the Aegean.
