By using silver impregnated granular activated carbon and high performance activated carbon, when water passes through the flter cartridge, heavy metals, lime scale, chlorine and certain industrial and agricultural pollutants are removed while the nutrients in water are retained. What’s more, up to 99.9 per cent of E.coli is removed after being treated by the UV sterilisation process (as tested by an international laboratory).
