idville – named “Best Tot Hot Spot” by New York Magazine – has opened a 4,500-square-foot facility at Wan Chai, of fering a wide range of developmental classes, parties, pre-school alternatives, camp and more. Parents will fnd everything they need for their kids here, including an indoor play space and retail boutique.

Fun and familiar geometric shapes are the design foundation for the Kidville interior space. With vibrant colors, the design elements encourage exploration and intuitively guide children throughout the space. In its inaugural semester, Kidville Hong Kong will of fer more than 20 class titles in the areas of gym, music, art, enrichment and dance, all led by an experienced team of “play professionals.”

Pre-school alternative

Kidville University (KVU) is the most popular pre-school alternative program in New York City. Focusing on physical, cognitive, social, language, and artistic development, the KVU approach provides a comprehensive program for children aged 20 months to three years old. KVU guides toddlers through social skills within a playful setting as they transition to school. The class of fers a curriculum that stimulates their natural curiosity as they explore new ideas. Separate, unique play spaces that of fer blocks, dramatic play, books, sensory and art tools, and fne- and gross-motor play encourage young children to explore, try and think creatively.

Parties

Kidville locations worldwide host more than 7,500 birthday parties a year. Kidville Hong Kong of fers two all-inclusive and fully customizable party packages, plus more than 15 age-appropriate themes for children up to age nine.

The frst outpost in Southeast Asia, Kidville Hong Kong will host three special grand opening celebrations featuring activities, refreshments and Kidville’s signature music program, Rockin’ Railroad, on Saturday, 1 September, Sunday, 2 September, and Saturday, 8 September, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. The Rockin’ Railroad concert will begin at 11am and 3:30 pm each day. The cost for admission is $150 per family. A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening events and from every class purchase from now until 30 th September will be donated to SPCA (HK). Free trial classes will be offered from 3 through 7 September. The inaugural 16-week Fall 2012 semester begins the week of September 10 th .
