Wanted Notice from the daily Standard, June 18th 2013:
INFORMATION TO THE WHERABOUTS OF:
TIMOTHY ROSS
AND
CHARLES ATKINSON
Last seen: On board to Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Maine on June 5th, 2013.
Appearance: Both are white men of mid twenties, about 5 to 6 feet tall. Tim has blonde hair with
grey eyes; Charles has brown hair and brown eyes.
If seen, or discovered news on the whereabouts of the two men, please contact Martina Horan at
+1-123-456.
“Well,” started Charles.
“Well.” confirmed Tim. It all seemed too surreal, too abrupt. He tried to assure his partner that
they indeed were simply one and a half hour from their final destination, from reaching the yet
to be discovered pinnacle of their dull lives. But even he himself couldn’t truly persuade himself
to take in the reality. The other few passengers were talking, talking furiously, whispering noisily
among themselves, passionately reciting stories about the beautiful sand dunes, the mysterious
nomads and oh, they just simply CANNOT wait to see those exotic landscapes and sands and so
on and so forth…
They stayed silent.
When the airplane left solid ground half an hour ago, Tim knew all remaining sense of reason
was hastily flung out of the window, to be replaced by this unstoppable, exquisite adrenaline rush.
The mere thought of treasure and fortune gave him chills down the spine and his skin textured
with gooseflesh despite the stuffy air within the cabin. He had never been so determined, so full
of himself, the euphoria of human arrogance slowly filling him up; he would smell the mythical
tomb and the treasure out. Excited, he took out his red notebook out, and began to write.
