Katherine Winter-Sellery
Originally from the U.S., Katherine moved to
China after graduating, where she developed
a life-long love of the country over several years.
After returning to the U.S. for graduate school she
came back to Hong Kong in 1989, newly married
and Managing Director for a U.S. based metals
trading company. It wasn’t until the birth of their
first child in 1994 that she would discover her
other life-long passion, parenting and compassionate communication.
When her son was two years old (now 21) she and her husband took Dr
Thomas Gordon's Parent Effectiveness Training course and it changed their
lives. Katherine went on to re-sit the class year after year until the teacher
suggested she become the instructor and in 2003 she became certified.
She went on to train with Dr Marshall Rosenberg, founder of the Center
for Non-Violent Communication, and to collaborate with Dr Louise Porter,
author of Children are People Too. She developed an effective parenting
model that draws on advice from all ‘the greats’ to offer the most
comprehensive parenting course in Hong Kong. Check out her website

Dr Kamilla Holst
After earning her degree in 2009, Kamilla
received a European Award for her written
thesis and she has been writing ever since.
Back in 2014 she flew from her hometown
of Copenhagen to Hong Kong with a one-
way ticket because of love. She has joined
the prestigious ranks of The Hong Kong
Chiropractor’s Association, where she is now
classified as a Top Chiropractor. Specialising in women’s and children’s
wellness chiropractic and lifestyle coaching, Kamilla teaches her patients
the importance of mind/body balance. She is a trained meditation teacher
and has an upcoming book called ‘The Fear Bucket List.’ It is dedicated to
young women who have suffered abuse of any kind or currently struggle
