Kate Farr
As mum to an extremely active three-year-old
and his brand new baby brother, British-born Kate
has resigned herself to never again experiencing
a full night’s sleep. Happily, this allows for plenty
of time spent on the other love of her life, writing.
Previously a freelance writer in both Hong
Kong and Shanghai, Kate edited a Hong Kong
parenting website before leaving to co-found
writing and editing agency, Editors’ Ink. She now happily divides her
time between chasing her eldest son around, burping the baby and
sitting typing with a mug of tea, which she claims as light cardio. When
not pounding her laptop on behalf of clients, Kate pounds the streets
of Hong Kong for the best family-friendly activities, travel and foodie
treats to share on her blog, accidentaltaitai.com. Whatever passes
for remaining spare time is spent with her hairdresser, maintaining her
trademark improbable shade of red.
Vicky Hill
Originally part of the South London massive,
Vicky moved to Hong Kong in 2010. After a
hedonistic first year with too many nights out in
LKF and Soho, Vicky settled in Sai Kung with her
new little family. Using her stock-in-trade of PR and
communications, Vicky has moved around sectors
working for everyone from wedding planners to
midwives. She has now found her feet in education and is constantly amazed
at the boundless energy and creativity of the students she works with.
