Young Writers Awards 2014
P3, the publisher of
Playtimes
magazine,
is now accepting submissions.
The registration has closed we now invite your children to start creating and submitting their
written and artistic pieces under the theme – New Tales of the Gobi Desert. Don’t worry, there is
plenty of time as the submission deadline is 31 January 2014.
Thank you to all 165 schools from Hong Kong, Macau and China that have registered for HKYWA
2014. Teachers will begin to acknowledge the best 10 written pieces from their class to be submitted
to the competition under the categories of Fiction, Non-Fiction and Poetry. The top 5 art pieces per
classroom will also be sent to the judging panel.
The HKYWA team has been compiling inspiration on this year’s topic from a variety of modern
and historical sources. Please visit the writing room on our website to arouse the interest of your
young writers and artists –
