Lucky for you, busy mum, this
season’s popular festive do’s are
easy-peasy and quick – there’s no
need to schedule a trip to the stylist if
you’re short on time.
The ballerina knot:
Start by
making a ponytail on the highest
part of your head. Then, twist the
full length of your hair around your
pointer finger, all the way to the
end. Wrap it around the base of the
ponytail and stretch the elastic band
that’s already holding your ponytail
in place one more rotation around
it all. You’re probably already doing
something similar when you get
ready for a shower or when you’re
just trying to tuck your hair away from
your face, and – conveniently – it’s
one of the biggest hairstyles of 2013!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s:
This is the
high bun with straight fringe (bangs)
that you remember Audrey Hepburn
sporting in the movie (or the movie
posters). Just make an easy bun
on the middle of your head – any
style of bun will do this season. You
can add a small, sparkly comb to
complete the festive evening look.
While the iconic look requires a
fringe, you can also change things
up with no fringe, as this season
it seems any bun or high knot is
popular.
The PopBand
These are perfect
for all of this season’s
easy up-do’s. Kind
on your hair, cute
on your wrist,
PopBands are soft,
stretchy, no-dent
hairbands that hold
your hair tight, but
still leave it fresh
and kink-free when
you take it down.

Hong Kong
must-have
Your skin has an amazing ability to repair
and regenerate itself, but it needs sleep.
Try to get a full seven or eight hours’ sleep
at least two to three times each week,
even during this ultra-busy time. Skip out
on too much repair time and your skin will
betray you with dryness and wrinkles.
