the BIG dinner
– takes
place on 7 March, when hundreds
(perhaps thousands!) of dinners will
be held around the world. 500 miles
was established
by a quadruple amputee who lost
her legs to meningitis but was able to
receive prostheses. She was so grateful
for her second chance that she decided
to provide disabled people in Africa with
artificial limbs. Simply sit down for food
with friends – who all donate – and help
