is coming to Hong Kong for the first time
this July! Dora has lost her teddy bear and needs help to find
The City of Lost Toys to rescue him. Morning, afternoon and
evening shows are scheduled, so families have several options
for spending an exciting time with Dora, Boots, Diego and their

Talent
time
Current members of Faust
International Youth Theatre will
perform at the
Faust Festival
, a
showcase for new talent. This year’s
Festival takes place at the McAulay
Studio in the Hong Kong Arts Centre
from 20 May until 14 June. There
are more than 60 performances to
choose from, performed by children
aged four to 16. From updated fairy
tales and literary classics to modern-
day stories, there’s bound to be
something to suit the whole family.

Lifetime learning
Through 19 May, the British Council is accepting applications for its
UK Summer
School Competition
. To enter, senior high school students must submit an essay
in English explaining: “Who or what from the UK inspires you the most and
why?” High-profile Hong Kong personalities will judge the competition and
five winners will receive flights, accommodation and tuition fees to study at a
participating university, which includes Aberystwyth University, University of East
