re you ready for a great party?
So many of you tell me that the party issue is one you look forward to every year, and I can
understand why: it’s one of my favourites, too! While I think our styling team does a super job
every month, it’s the party issue where they can really shine. With the amazingly creative and talented
Ingrid Keneally leading the effort, along with fabulous photographers Belinda Bath and Melanie Adamson,
the party shoots always dazzle me
. This year is no exception.
For the pages of
Tutu pretty
, the team created the tea party of every little girl’s dreams,
with
miles of tulle, beautiful treats and lots of sparkle
. Oh, how I wish we’d had tutus like
this when I was a little girl – I’m completely convinced I would have refused to wear anything else from
ages two to ten!
Then, for
Wild times
, Ingrid and the team transformed a garden into a mini safari park, complete
with a
menagerie of creatures from Jurassic Garage
. I can’t even tell you how excited I
was to hold a hedgehog that day! (I’m pretty sure I was even more excited than the children.)
In addition to everything being beautiful, the
sweet and savoury treats were all
delicious
. Many of you have told me that you’ve come to expect that the most beautiful cakes can
taste the worst. That was definitely not the case with these talented food artists. The proof, as they say,
was in the eating – which we all enjoyed following both shoots. You can learn more about all of them in the
