together in a bunch must have been because I seemed dangerous. Well, they are hunted for their
wool, maybe they thought I was a hunter. So I left them alone.
It was a little bit past noon, I preferred the cold rather than being under the sun. Also, I didn’t
think I could have gone back to my original life living with normal people. In conclusion, I made
the craziest decision of living in the mountains. Although I still had many questions, but I guess
I had to move on in my life and accept what has happened to me and accept the fact that nobody
could answer my questions ever.
I wandered around the big mountain. There was nothing much, it would be quite boring
to stay here every day but what choices did I have. I went to find another shelter. After a long
search, I saw a big cave from afar. Looked like home sweet ho—and that was when the familiar,
murderous scent of blood burst out. I was stunned and frozen, wondering what could be inside
that deep, dark cave. I tiptoed slowly over to the entrance of the cave. I cautiously took a little
peek. When I saw what was inside I was horrified. There were three grey wolves tearing up a
sheep and eating it. I guessed that they were at the edge of starvation by the way they were
having their feast.
My original home sweet home has turned out to be someone else’s. So, when I was just about
to leave, I accidently kicked a rock and it rolled inside the cave which drew the wolves’ attention
to me. Oh dear me. I ran away immediately and of course the wolves chased after me. Typical isn’t
it. I ran as fast as I could until I tripped over and bumped into a tree. The trio were growling and
walking slowly towards me. “It’s the end for me,” and it has only been one and a half day since the
last time I said that. We could never escape death and I experienced it once already so I’m quite
prepared. So long and farewell. Then, I closed my eyes, prepared for what was going to happen.
“Roar!” I was not prepared for anything like that though. I opened my eyes and saw big snow
leopards scaring the wolves away. The trio was no match against those kitty cats. Snow leopards
are the biggest in the cat family, so they are like gods. They did not attack me, I should have
been the easiest prey here, but why did they protect me? To tear me apart? Then one of the snow
leopards looked at me in the eyes and that’s when everything was cleared up, all the questions
were answered.
I was in a zoo before and attacked the zookeeper who fed and loved me, so I was shot but
didn’t die. All because I was a beast and forever will be. I am a snow leopard of the Gobi.
