The Lost Sisters

ong time ago, there lived two sisters and they were twins! They both had small eyes and sad faces
because each day they did not have enough food to eat or drink. At the age of two, their mother
decided to take one of the daughters and moved to Hong Kong with her because she was too poor.
Too poor to support both daughters, so the other one was left in the orphanage.
One day a rich woman came and adopted her and she was treated very well. At the age of nine, she
found out something in an old chest at home. There was a locket and inside was a small photo taken of a
woman with two baby girls. She kept it in her pocket ever since, hoping to find out who the mysterious
woman and the girl who looked like her in the photo.
One day her rich mother saw her locket in the room. Thinking the poor girl might miss her
mother, she remembered that her real mother had told her that she moved to Hong Kong. The rich mother
was planning a trip to Hong Kong but never said a word. She bought the tickets and went onto the boat to
Hong Kong. They passed by different shops and houses and they stopped! Suddenly she saw a girl who stood
by her mother’s side and looked exactly like her adopted daughter. They quickly spoke to the poor mum and
said,“I have been looking for both of you.” Handing her adopted daughter to her real mother, all of them
had tears in their eyes.
The whole family went wild. They said good byes and thank you to the rich mother. The twins
and their mother lived happily ever after.
