A few days before, she was invited to stay with her friend, Amia. She was rich, but she only
wanted her father to come back. A year ago, he was murdered by a thief, in Kabuki mask, but
the thief was still not caught.
When Amy got to her friend’s humongous mansion, her friend was reading a newspaper. The headline read
JEWELERY SHOP ROBBED BY KABUKI MAN. Amy thought “That is the killer. I’ll get to the bottom
of this.” Amia shut the newspaper and said “I’ll take you to your room now.” A huge surprise was waiting
for her there. Amia put a blindfold on Amy, and then led her into a room … Amia pulled off the blindfold.
“Amy, happy birthday! This is Uncle Max, Aunt Maybelle, my cousins Bix and Bax, and you are…” Amia
said. The “you-are” stranger said, “I’m Uncle Pau.” Ania said under her breath. “I don’t remember inviting
you…… Let’s eat the cakes, ” Amy said, trying to draw the attention away from Uncle Pau. That guy gives
Amy creeps. Uncle Pau was wearing a black hat, black sunglasses, a brown trench coat, black pants and black
shoes.
The cake was a traditional cake in Pearl River Delta. It looked like a tart with some egg on top. It was called
egg tart.
“You want to have a sleepover, Amy?” Amia asked. “Sure thing!” Amy said. After the night, one guest
disappeared. It was Uncle Pau.
“Would you like to go on a trip to Macau and Guangzhou? We have our own private jet plane, ” Amia
asked Amy. “Of course, ” Amy answered. When they got into the jet plane, a man in a Kabuki mask ran
away and hid. Strange. It looked awfully like Uncle Pau.
After they landed, they bought curry fish balls and newspaper. The newspaper headline read MACAU
BANK ROBBED BY KABUKI MAN, $100, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 lost. “OMG! First a jewelry shop,
next a bank! In the same week! But in two different cities!” The two girls said together at the same time.
They looked at each other, and then burst into fits of giggles.
The next day, the girls went to Guangzhou. There, they bought siu mai and a newspaper. The newspaper
headline read: PRESIDENT MURDERED! BY KABUKI MAN.
They ran to the police station, a man in a Kabuki mask was in. Amy whirled in, sending the papers to the
“Mr. Kabuki”. Next, Amia snatched his mask”. On his face read GIVE ME PEARL RIVER DELTA! Or I
will shoot you. His face was painted red. But, it was, still recognizable, Uncle Pau!
