“I was born ready,” said Carter.
Together, they broke in, and encountered a magnificent sight before their eyes.
Centuries of plunder along the richest trade routes in the old world has had the Ulhans
accumulated millions in gold. David and Carter were amazed by this scene, they had no idea the
spoils of Ulhan plunder would’ve survived centuries of ageing.
“Whoa, it’s amazing!” exclaimed Carter.
“Suspicious,” Said David in a careful tone.
“Ah. Visitors,” a mysterious voice said gloomily.
“Huh?” said David.
“Yeah. You heard me, I own this place,” the mysterious voice said boldly.
“No one does, this place has been barren for ages,” said Carter.
“Bah! Puny mortal, you know nothing,” the mysterious voice boomed.
Suddenly, the mysterious being showed itself. It was a man in black-clad Gothic clothing, and
a stern face. The man was tall, and had a regal expression in his face, but however he radiated
evil, and appeared unfriendly to David and Carter.
“I am Uruk-Hal, chieftain of the Ulhans,” he said as he ascended from darkness.
David gasped. He could not believe his eyes, the very being he spent his life researching about
is standing alive in front of him. And possibly the key to his mystery.
“So, what brings you to my domain?” Uruk-Hal said coldly.
“My father went insane while exploring here a few decades ago, I’m here to find out what
happened,” David said firmly.
“Ah, yes, my latest group of thieves, that came about 50 years ago, I did some spells on him,
drove him mad.” Uruk-Hal said with ease.
“YOU MONSTER! WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU?” David yelled.
“He was about to raze my tomb,” Uruk-Hal said.
“Wait…..are you a ghost or what?” Carter asked curiously.
“Ha! I’m immortal now, I sacrificed my body to reach immortality, and you cannot kill me!”
Uruk-Hal boomed.
“And now, my pitiful mewlings, IT’S TIME TO DIE!”
“I will destroy you,” said David.
“You cannot kill me! I’m already dead,” Uruk-Hal boomed.
Suddenly, David remembered a legend that gothic ghosts can be destroyed if impaled by
sacred gold.
“I can’t, but this can,” David said.
“What?” Uruk-Hal said, apparently puzzled.
“Behold! The Omni Blade!” David said.
The Omni Blade once belonged to the crusaders, and was said to be stolen by bandits in the
orient, David could not imagine it appearing in the spoils of the Ulhans.
And with a jab, David impaled the gold blade into Uruk-Hal’s hollow body. But for a moment,
nothing happened.
“Ha, did you really think that legend existed?” Uruk-Hal boomed.
But then suddenly, a glowing white streak of light sparked through his body, and moments
later the once-mighty Ulhan chieftain was no more.
“IM…..POSSI…..BLE!!” Uruk-Hal said miserably as he was slowly reduced to ashes.
“This one’s for my father.” David said grimly.
