aking in the middle of a hot desert and not remembering anything that just
happened is the worst feeling ever! The aheat is so hot that even a four-legged
creature like me can melt. What’s worse is that I don’t know where I am, what I am
doing here and this huge luggage or whatever is killing my back! It even smells
like rotten garlic and onions, it’s certainly disgusting!
Anyway, from what I can remember, I was told to find this village called “Village of the Gobi”
and deliver this burden I have on my back. So I am here on my way to find this village. How
annoying!
I may look like an easy-going creature, but unfortunately, my life is hard. If only apples and
carrots can be found everywhere, it would be like heaven! Carrying useless stuff like this huge
water bottle is such a nuisance! At least it should have water when I have to carry it! Walking,
or you can say running, in the dessert is the most terrible feeling I had. Not only was the sand
burning my feet, it had to be golden and soft which makes me want to sleep. Then I came across
my type of people, buff, strong and powerful, to help me out.
“Where you going?” my friend said.
“Off to take this thing on my back to Village of Gobi.” I whined.
They gave me this awful look, as if I have done something wrong, just like how my master
looks at me whenever I did something wrong. I remember my master would always yell at me if I
don’t obey him or whenever I did something wrong. He never appreciates whatever I do and that’s
why I have always hated him from the very start.
Anyway, I went off without saying goodbye to them because they just kept on staring at me
like I’m some weirdo. Now I have reached the complete opposite of what I was feeling, the coldest
part of the desert. My legs are like frozen sticks ready to be broken into half, my face covered
with fluffy white cotton and my body was like a nervous person, nonstop shaking.
The place was isolated, completely nobody around. I have never seen this part of Gobi Desert,
but why do I feel like it is so familiar? And why would I head here? Is this even the way to Village
of Gobi? There are questions in my mind that I couldn’t stop thinking about. But all I know is
that, my heart says it’s this way. I must deliver this luggage as soon as possible!
Snow going through my skin, making the burden on my back heavier and my body getting
weaker and weaker. Then, I started seeing things, things that is somewhat familiar. I started to see
a little creature like me running around the snow with a human boy. They were running around
and until the little boy fell into a deadly hole. The creature helped him and pulled him back onto
the ground and saved the boy’s life. The little boy cried his heart out with the creature comforting
him. How nice that humans and animals can get along with each other.
Within a blink of an eye, they were gone. I don’t know whether I’m just seeing things or
imagining things, or did that just happen? I must be having an illusion. I should just take a deep
breath and head to somewhere that is warm.
Luckily, I came across this house. The lights were off, and it looked like there was no one
there. So I just went in without hesitating because I was just too tired. How fortunate for me that I
