time, he knew that the unknown ruins was a city in the along the Silk Road, maybe a place for
merchants to rest during their journey? Both sides of the main street were ancient houses about
two to three storeys high. There were shops beneath the houses. There were lots of different kinds
of shops, such as jewellery shops, shoe shops, medicine shops, and of course, silk shops. He took a
product from each shop to take out experiments, or even sell them because he always wanted to
be rich, to be a billionaire!
Alfred slowly walks to the mayor’s office, or something, to explore the interior of the building.
When he tries to sit down on the steps to have rest, maybe he operated another trap. He was
surrounded by hundreds, thousands, or even ten thousands of scorpions! He yelled loudly, “Help!
Help me please!” When the scorpions were about to touch him, a trap door opened and a secret
passage was opened, he didn’t even think of jumping in or not and he jumped into the secret
passage. The door of the secret passage immediately closed when he jumped in and he murmured
to himself quietly again, “Thank God!” He walked slowly in the passage if there were any traps.
And after half an hour of walking carefully the exit appeared and when he exits the passage, he
saw his tent right in front of him. He packed all his things in the speed of light and ran away of
the desert.
When he arrived back in Hong Kong, he said his experiences to his friends and relatives but
no one believed it because he never succeeded in any expedition before. He called his friends to
find the ancient ruins but when they came back, they declared that the ruins didn’t even exist on
Earth. In order to make their friends believe what he said, he tried to take out the evidence that
he took from the shops. He realised again that his ‘evidence’ was stolen. And his plan to be rich
has gone because he lost everything that proved the ruins exists and the products from the shops
were also stolen and never seen again.
