“We think that your creature is too dangerous that it may threaten our peace if it is out of
control, so may you destroy it and stop making these horrible things?” Dick said firmly.
“This is my land and I can do anything here,” Alan shouted back.
All of a sudden, a loud roar came from the deep forest ahead. Dick was frightened.
“Well,” Alan said eerily. “You come all the way here to talk about my little beast. Why don’t
you meet it? It’s coming now, but be careful, it is pretty hungry. Trust me, it can do anything
when it is hungry.”
Along with Alan’s voice fading, everything was in silence, leaving Dick standing alone.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake and trees were shivering. Dick began to run back to the
entrance. The gate was closed and there was no way to escape. The ground was shaking even
harder and he could feel that something was digging the ground and rushing towards him. He
tried to hold on to the gate and burst it open with his power, but it was impossible. The sounds
came nearer and nearer and slowly he was dragged down into the sand, vanished.
Back in the Garden of Adam, the Gods were waiting for Dick’s return. However, after several
hours of waiting, they started to worry. They discussed among themselves and decided to go to
the Aileen’s Garden. When they were on the way, something was blocking their way. When they
went closer to take a look, they were all shocked. It was Dick, who lost all his power and turned
into dust. Slowly, a dark shadow appeared in front of them. It was Alan.
“What did you do to him?” the Gods yelled at Alan.
“My little pet was very hungry,” Alan giggled. “And I couldn’t stop Dick from coming in and
become its breakfast.”
Instead of beating Alan, the Gods were shocked. Alan had created a monster that would suck
up all their power. It was the first creature that can threaten a God’s life.
“So who’s next,” Alan laughed. Everything was shaking and a huge beast with a long body
popped up from the ground and rushed to the crowd. The Gods were all scared. Some tried to stop
it with all their power but that creature just absorbed all their power and became stronger. All of
them ran back to the Garden of Adam for their lives and hid inside the fortress.
Alan followed his beast into the garden. After all these long years, he could finally go back to
the garden. The beast sneaked through every road and ate all the trees and plants there, leaving
only the ashes. The whole garden was now ruined, all years of efforts were gone and turned into
ashes. The Gods kept hiding in the fortress, but all of them knew that it couldn’t last for long as
the beast could eat up everything - and after eating up the whole Garden of Adam, it was very
powerful now.
“Everyone,” Sam, the guardian of the door, said. “I think the only way out is to go through the
door and close it forever. Only in this way can the beast and Alan be stopped. They will turn into
ashes, just like what Dick became.”
Everyone was quiet. The roar of the beast out there was louder. It was really the only way
although they would need to sacrifice all the works and efforts building this whole world. They
went through the door one by one and when the beast finally reached the fortress, all of them
were on the other side of the door.
Alan went into the fortress, feeling proud of his victory, but he didn’t know that Sam was
trying to close the door at that moment. By the time Alan reached the room of the door, Sam was
actually standing right in front of him, only a door between them.
“Goodbye,” Sam said and the door was slammed shut. It was only then now Alan realized
