Michael that I was telling the truth. He recognised his own handwriting. I told him about what had
happened. About the suffering, the fighting and the blackouts. And the Earthquakes that caused a number of
nuclear reactors to leak radiation and leave vast amounts of land uninhabitable. Governments had recognized
the acute danger of global warming and virtually overnight stopped the use of fossil fuels and nuclear energy.
“You sent me here for a reason, Michael”, I sobbed. I was here to influence the outcome of the vote.
For now there was hope.
