‘Where are you going to, sir?’ The sales asked them after they reached the counter behind the queue.
‘Umm…’ Baina blinked his left eye so that he could find Wangchuk for help.
‘Renda’, said Wangchuk.
“Oh, you mean Ereen? There will be a train tonight, it is ok ?’
‘We are ok.’
‘Please give me your identity card; I need to input your information to the ticket.”
‘Huh? What is an identity card? Is it a food?’
‘What? You don’t have an identity card? Sorry, I can do nothing except calling the police.
Please wait here.’
‘Oh! We will be arrested and chopped into pieces! We can’t go back to our home anymore!’
yelled Baina, with a great fear.
‘Shhhh! Stop making any sound! Follow me! We must leave here before they send anyone to
catch us!’ said Wangchuk, who was taking off his shoes.
“Walk quietly and get out!’
Without any sound produced, they escaped from the big house and get into the desert again.
Since they got guidelines from the map that going north could get a treasure called’ snow’,
which was described as white and could not be found in the desert. Riding on their camels again,
the two adventurers traveled towards the north. This time was much easier than the one before
as they didn’t get lost. However, they saw an unbelievable phenomenon when they saw a big yet
unusual rock mountain.
‘Look, Wangchuk! This rock mountain is white! Can we get the white treasure over there?
‘asked Baina, with a long lost smile on his face.
‘It is possible but how can we get up to there? We can’t climb up to there!’
‘That’s easy, let’s wait for the common storm wind in the Gobi. I read about this from one of
our ancestor’s book! We can get those which was fell from the peak easily through this!’
Storm wind may used to be common in the Gobi. However, there was no wind or even breeze
during their long waiting. After 3 days, Wangchuk was fully desperate.
‘Maybe the climate has been changed after our ancestors moved into the mountain. I think we
should give up and go back.’
‘Wait, I saw a white dot over there! Maybe that’s what we are waiting for!’
Baina rushed and picked up that little white object. By looking at it carefully, he gave out a
sharp shout.
‘We get it! This is what we have been looking for! ’
With great excitement and happiness, they went back the tribe as fast as they could, without
any labyrinth luckily.
‘Oh! You two can come back safely! What a great new! What have you seen and brought
back?’ asked the cacique curiously.
‘The east side was horrible and we were nearly chopped into pieces!’ said Baina with his
legs shaking.
‘However, we found something similar to “snow” near a rock mountain on the northern side.
But… it turned into water now. Sorry cacique.’ said Wangchuk with a wet bag.
The ancestors had already mentioned that snow will be melt when it is put into a bag. Don’t
feel guilty, Wangchuk.’ Said the cacique kindly, patting Wangchuk’s head.
‘You two still did a great job!’
