prepared their best and went to that mysterious place in the west of the Gobi Desert. They made
many sign on the sand in order to mark a road for them to go back, and didn’t get lost in there.
Luckily, they discovered a small hole in there soon. Sam was happy and went into the hole
quickly. And they found the treasure. There are many gold bars inside the hole. ‘You can save
your mother now, Jason!’ Peter said. Then they take the gold bar in their bags and leave.
However, when they wanted to leave the hole, there suddenly is a desert wind happened. ‘Go
back to the hole now. Quick!’ Sam warned. Now, they were trapped in the hole. ‘We should sleep at
here and leave here tomorrow.’ Sam said calmly.
The next morning, the desert wind has gone. However, they found that all the signs they made
were disappeared. They couldn’t find the way to go back. They got lost now.
‘Sorry. It is my false. I make you get lost and we may die at here,’ Jason said sadly. ‘No, I also
have the responsibility,’ Sam said. ‘Enough is enough! It is not the time for us to discuss it. We
should think how to leave here,’ Peter said calmly. Sam and Jason look at each other and felt sorry.
After that, they started to walk around the desert and wanted to find back the signs. However,
they failed, and they decided to try a way. Therefore, they walked along one way.
Unfortunately, they tried wrongly. They still got lost in the desert. They couldn’t find the way,
but their food was almost eaten. ‘I have no regret meeting you two, my friends!’ Sam said. ‘Yes!
You two are my best friends. If we go to the heaven, we must be the best friend in there!’ Jason
said. ‘Maybe it is our fate. We are destined that we die at the same time,’ Peter said. Although they
were in adversity, they didn’t feel unhappy. This is because they were now with their best friends.
At this night they enjoyed their last dinner. Then they slept and hoped that they could find the
way tomorrow.
When they woke up, they were in hospital and a man sat in front of them. ‘Congratulate! You
have finished my task,’ the man said. However, they all didn’t understand and didn’t know who he
is. ‘Sorry, who are you?’ Jason asked. ‘Oh, yes, I forget to introduce myself. My name is Sean, the
richest man in the Gobi Desert. You have met me at the desert,’ Sean said. ‘I know. You are that
old man,’ Sam said happily, ‘but why congratulate us?’
Sean said seriously, ‘Since I have been a rich man, no one is true to me. They only want my
money. I dislike them and so I move to the Gobi Desert and my money too. However, recently, I
feel bored so I spread the information of the treasure thought some media. I want to test whether
the true friends will choose their friends or money. And finally the result is that there are three
true friends can choose their friendship instead of money.’
‘We are friends, forever friends!’ They said certainly. ‘Money, even everything cannot separate
us!’ Sam said certainly. ‘Yes!’ Jason and Peter said certainly too. ‘Ha, I appreciated you three
enthusiastic guys. And I know that Jason’s mother suffered from cancer. I will help her and you
don’t worry about that.’ Sean said.
Finally, Jason’s mother recovered, and these three enthusiastic guys go back to their home.
Their life was normal again. They thanked very much. In addition, the old man disappeared and
became a mystery. They didn’t find him anymore.
