sandstorm raging on. , taking this chance, I looked for cover. Finding a cave for shelter, while
running in to it I noticed footprints, closely following me. Just before I reached the shelter I
turned around swiping at the “thing” following me, with an astounding roar my eyes were
prickled again. As I stepped into the cave, I came across a mystical pool which emulated green
light, in the middle of the pool was a drying tree with a lively aura. Being in its presence made
me feel ten years younger. Reflected in the pool was a tiger head; majestically roaring as ripples
form the tree spread out. To say it was mesmerizing would be an understatement. This made me
think what that tree might be. My train of though was abruptly smashed into a wall as the faint
sound of cracking was heard. The roof with the tiger head was splitting; it was obvious the place
wasn’t made for sandstorms due to the lack of support. Suddenly a wide crack appeared on the left
wall, letting sand pour in at an alarming rate. I have to get out of here! I told myself dashing to
the door, but a pillar fell in my way. “No” I muttered “my only way out!” I thought I was dead as I
fainted in the chaos.
When I woke up I found in a lake of water, but instead of falling in I floated on it. I was in this
emptiness, until a soft chuckle came from my left, there was a tiger slowly advancing towards me.
I was less than afraid when I saw it coming, drawing my sword none the less. I mean I’ve defeated
serpent mermaid thingies. How hard could a tiger be? Very hard, the thing with this tiger was it
was no ordinary tiger. For this was the tiger of creation, the holy, the king. With one staggering
roar which echo throughout the heavens, he turned my sword to dust “What are you.” I stuttered,
starting to fear this majestic beast.
“Hal, messenger For I am Bashar, the king of this land.” Said the tiger swinging his tail
casually about.
“So you speak,” I compelled by his civilized manner.
“Yes young one, I do, I have also been protecting you along the way.” he repeated.
“Why do you call me messenger “I asked intrigued “I have no message?”
“Because you will bear my message to the humans.”
“What message?” I asked the tiger growing confident in his glorious aura.
“No haste, you bear the message you must hear me out.” Said the tiger.
Long ago the Gobi WASEden a glorious and flourishing. I the tiger was appointed as king of
this land, to leadthe people. Knowing this my brother the lion jealous of my appointment ran and
escaped into another dimension. For five hundred years I guarded this land, leading my people; for
that was our climax. When my brother attacked. Corroded by jealousy, he was different, the brother
I knew, only cared for himself and himself only. He and his monsters attacked on that faithful night.
Although only numbering in at three hundred, we fought valiantly but we fell, and I died.
I anticipated my brother to do was apply martial law throwing my country into chaos,
but he did the unexpected. He tempted my people in to borrowing from him, and then made
unreasonable interests, my people went bankrupt. As my soul watched on, I was confused, why as
to use this tactic I asked? Until I witnessed the chaos it unleashed, my people that I myself raised
to be honest, good willed and kind were killing, tricking and robbing each other to repay loans!
I was infuriated at how my people changed. This was a mocking, showing me my people’s true
form. When three years later faithful resurrected me with the fruit of life, I was determined to
save my people, until the faithful asked me for money! I was infuriated, sealing the land with the
power of the tree of life, this evil would not spread.
“So how does this affect me?” I asked
