work hard to earn money in order to give your parents a blessed and prosperous life, and not by
stealing my father’s orb!”
Yosen nodded in shame, thanked Nohara and fled.
When Nohara returned to the Gobi, the shards of the orb reassembled itself. The Gobi King’s
spirit was projected into the sky. Nohara, stunned and mumbled, “Your majesty.”
The spirit smiled, looking at Nohara with melancholic eyes. “Nohara, thank you for keeping
it well all this time. You truly inherit my will; you are someone who upholds justice and has an
indomitable will in completing tasks. I am very grateful to you. Now, I shall grant you a wish as a
reward.” The king spoke softly, coughing as the image of the spirit was flickering. Nohara smiled.
“Thank you for your kindness, your majesty. I do not wish for anything, but I hope that peace
be granted to all the residents of the Gobi, and I hope that Yosen will be able to live a better life. I
shall ask for no more from you.” Nohara replied, smiling even wider.
The king nodded. “Very well then.” Then, the spirit vanished into thin air along with the orb.
