A
sorcerer named Peter who used magic lived in Gobi palace. In front of his palace, there
was a strange natural formation of colorful, huge mud cliff. On the cliff, there was a
grand monastery. On the left side, there was a green river shore in a beautiful valley.
On the right side, there were sand dunes called ‘Singing Sand’. Behind the palace, there
was an evergreen forest under a unique area of granite stone mountains. Inside the forest, there
were many herds of domesticated animals and some endangered wild animals such as dinosaurs.
He enjoyed sunrise and sunset in Gobi, up and down the steppe in his palace. He worshiped
his ancestors in the monastery once a week. He sang with ‘Singing Sand’ and heard the rhythm of
the river. He fed the wild animals in the forest. The palace was a peaceful place in the world.
On his wedding day, a powerful dragon appeared and destroyed the palace. The dragon
burned the palace, cliff, river, sand dunes, stone mountains and the forest into a desert, except
the monastery. He prayed in the monastery and asked his ancestors for help. He was told to collect
a blue bright magic stone in the holy mountain. With the magic stone, Peter would become more
powerful and killed the dragon with his magic wand. After the dragon was killed, the desert
would turn to the palace again.
To increase his magic power, he had to find the magic stone. He started his journey with his
wife, Mary, and a wizard, Ben. They rode to a spring by crossing the dark river. In the river, there
were crocodiles like monsters. They used sharp teeth to attack the sorcerer. The sorcerer killed
them with his magic wand and kept the meat so that they could have enough food throughout the
journey. When they arrived at the spring, they found the water in the spring was poisoned. They
collected a lot of cactus and squeezed them into juice. Then they could have enough drinks for the
journey. On his way to a lake, they needed to pass through a range of mountains. The weather was
cold on the mountain. They had to collect dead wood for making fire to keep them warm. Finally,
they reached a glacial moraine. They explored the moraine and inside the cave, they found the
magic stone.
With the magic stone, the sorcerer became more powerful. He turned an eagle to a giant
creature which could carry them back to the monastery. The creature flew almost a week and they
got back to the monastery.
They found that the dragon hid in the monastery but the sorcerer was not able to kill with the
dragon because it would destroy the monastery. They had to find a way to lure the dragon away
the monastery. The sorcerer knew that the dragon liked eating slim wood. So he planted lots of
slim wood surrounding the monastery. When the dragon came out to eat the plants, he could use
super magic to kill the dragon but the dragon was smart and it did not come out for a long time.
So they tried to build a pseudo dragon outside the monastery. At first, the pseudo dragon was
painted in red, and then the sorcerer tried to turn it into green. The dragon in the monastery came
out and tried to use its powerful claws to destroy the pseudo dragon. The sorcerer learnt that the
dragon disliked green colour so it turned everything into desert. So the sorcerer immediately used
his magic wand to turn the monastery into green colour. The dragon was not willing to get back
into the monastery and tried to attack the sorcerer. The sorcerer knew that it was a good chance to
kill the evil dragon. He used magic to freeze the wings of the dragon so that it could not fly away.
