Fiction: Group 2
The fairy took her wand and circled it over the river. The river started to glow
and all the dirt and garbage disappeared into thin air. Li clapped and jumped with joy. The
next morning, Li's dad was very happy that he could go fishing and that his family will no
longer starve.
A couple of months later, when Li's dad was fishing, he found something really
great. Oysters! He found many oysters, each one containing an astonishing pearl. Li was
excited that her dad would sell something worth a lot of money. In a few weeks, Li's
family became rich and prosperous. Li never forgot the fairy who was so kind.
