the mucky river, a tiny little spot of clear water started to spread across the whole river. The river became
clean and shiny. The next day villagers heard the rumour about how the river became useful and they also
heard how Xinxin did it. They started congratulating and thanking her. This is why her name was Xinxin,
her name meant hope.
Since the pearl that Xinxin had been wearing was the key to the clear water they finally named it The Pearl
River Delta.
This is how the river got its name.
