I realized that I had a pistol in my backpack. Without a second thought, I took it out and fired. The
loud gunshots attracted the people eventually. They came and I told them my story. My rescuers
were nice and took me to a hospital afterwards.
After this unforgettable near-death experience, I learnt the cruelty of nature as well as
the desert’s conditions. The Gobi Desert was a beautiful place, but could kill anyone who was
unprepared. However, without having the experience I had, nobody would believe Gobi Desert’s
power-nature’s power. It was indeed the most unforgettable and horrible incident I had in my life.
