After several minutes, The White Tiger came out of the room, with no sight of the beast.
Seeming to have read my mind, the Tiger said, “I’ve killed it. It won’t say a thing about Yaksha.
Come, we need to go to the Azure Dragon and Vermillion Bird’s place now. We need to see how
your friends are doing with the training. And especially after this small-sized battle, I am quite
sure that we need to be prepared.” He pulled some hair from his forehead and muttered, “Azure
Dragon,” and we rose up to the sky. I saw a rainbow coming down at me, and the next thing
I know, we were at a luxurious palace under water, as I saw many fish swimming outside the
window I was looking at.
After a while of chatting, the Vermillion Bird and Jake arrived by appearing out of thin air.
I was already too used to it to feel amazed. I noticed a difference between the Bird and the other
two gods – the Vermillion Bird had flames dancing around her while the others didn’t have any
sign of their powers. Seeming to have read my mind, the Tiger sad, “She has the flames dancing
around her because her flame balls are her weapons. My weapons are the same as yours which I
can make them appear whenever I want while the Dragon uses spells and seldom use weapons.”
I nodded and asked, “Em… May I ask where the legendary Black Tortoise is? I’ve heard that he is
very powerful but appeared for only a few times. Isn’t he supposed to be here when there is such a
crisis like this?” The three gods exchanged a quick look and said, “That’s a secret that we hope we
will never expose. We won’t tell it, or show him to you when the time is not right.” “Okay than.”
“But there is one thing I can tell you. When three people learning the three different dimensions
of war, and when their powers are at the same level, they can merge their power together into
one person, and that person will be quite invincible, but this can last only for two minutes as the
human body is too weak to carry that amount of power. Don’t use this unless you really can’t
defeat the enemy. This is the ultimate last resort. Now let’s get some little practice on how to
transmit your powers to another person. You need to put your right hand on the other’s back and
then use your mind to transfer you power to your partner.” We’ve just had some practice while all
of a sudden, ‘Boom!’
The whole ceiling crumbled down and water started to flood in from the crack of the palace.
We all vanished in a second and were teleported to the surface by the Dragon. We looked up,
seeing a hideous creature floating in the air. The creature had two horns on its head, with curly
black hair and a face consisted of half wolf and half human. Its body part under its head is
completely human, except from the claws on its hands and a tail flicking on its butt. It laughed,
showing the sharp fangs in its mouth and said, “Hello, gods and sky-walkers. I’ve waited for a
long time to see you gods again. For the sky-walkers… Look pretty weak, do they?” Yaksha swung
his head around, and the entire enemy which took up the hills behind them laughed loudly. “I’ve
heard that the warrior here had destroyed my army of fire-goblins, didn’t he? Perseus isn’t it? To
complement you, I will let you die painlessly.” I feel my cheeks reddening, and my blood boiling
when I grabbed the hilt of the spear that the White Tiger gave me. I looked behind me and gasped
– all my friends are geared up in combat suits. What surprised me more was that there are lots of
little tigers, dragons and birds behind me. We had an army!
“Well than BRING IT ON, Yaksha. Let’s see how well you can do!” I yelled. And, we the three
gods leading, we charged. Yaksha rose to the air and looked at us one by one, as if he was picking
a target to kill. I ignored him, hopping on a tiger and started to thrash my spear, and sometimes
using my shield to knock enemies down. For a while, I felt like I am a god, with unlimited mighty
powers. My spear pierced through the enemies’ armors, my shield protected all the strikes that the
