New Tales of the Pearl River Delta

n the year 2092, there is a boy living in Hong Kong. He likes to play computer games very much. One
day, his grandfather goes to his house to visit him. The boy has a pet dog and a bird in his house. While
the boy is playing level 37, the place is Sweden. A few minutes later, the boy completed the level. The
place of the next level is the Pearl River Delta. Suddenly, a bright ray shines from the computer. The boy,
the pet dog, the boy’s grandfather and the birds are absorb by the computer! The boy says ‘Do we fell into
computer? His grandfather replies “Maybe. I feels that there are some energy goes into my body,’ At this
time, the dog and the bird start to talk! They says “Let’s have an adventure! The boy and his grandfather feel
amazed. They start their adventure. Suddenly there is a sound says ‘When you kill all the monster, you can
leave the computer world.’ Everyone said ‘we will leave the computer world!’ Only four seconds later, a
monster appears in front of them (the boy takes out his sword and run to the monster) but the monster gives
him a big hit, the boy falls to the tree and hurt his arm. Then the dog uses its head to attack the monster, the
monster falls down! Everyone cheers up, After this, a sound appears again, it says ‘Don’t be too happy, this is
only the first monster, there are still many waiting you to come? Then the sound disappears. ‘Where does
this sound come from? ‘Everyone says suspiciously. When they finish the last word, many water dips falls
down from the sky, its rain! The dog says ‘Oh! Looks like computer world also has weather and time’. ‘Do
we have any groceries? The boy asked. Then the boy can see there is a box which is ten feet long. He opens
the box and find two slices of bread, three cartons of milk and one bag of candies. Everyone are very happy
that they have food to eat.
After having their meal, they go to sleep for six hours. When they wake up, a monster is walking behind
them. They still feel sleepy, so the monster gives them a big kick. Luckily, the bird flies away. The others
fall to the big tree. When the others are ready for the fighting, the bird flies around the monster’s head for
seven times. It makes the monster feels a little bit dizzy in two seconds so they can’t attack. Three minutes
later, both side also have an injury. The boy says ‘We can’t lose!’ Then, the boy runs as fast as flash to the
monster. He gives a big punch to it. The monster hurt again. The boy’s grandfather is standing behind the
monster and he hit it. The monster dies! Everyone feel tired, the bird says, ‘I think that we need to leave the
forest, we can’t stay here for long time.’ The others agree it’s idea. After a rest for ten minutes, they start
walking forward. ‘I hope we can leave the forest and go to the city’ the boys says. One hour is pasts, they
arrive the city. The secret sound appears again, it says ‘Finally, you arrive here, there are two monsters left. I
can tell you, they are stronger than the monsters you fought with before.’ Then the sound disappears again.
They all feel nervous about the monsters. About two hours later, a giant monster comes. All of them say
‘This monster is very big!’ The monster picks up the tree and throws it to the dog, luckily, the dog takes out
its shield and saves itself. The boy’s grandfather throws a big rock to the monster and the monster hurts its
left hand. The monster feels very angry so it gives a strong punch to the boy’s grandfather. He hurts his
spine and yells ‘Ouch, very painful!’ Then the boy runs to his grandfather immediately. He says
‘Grandfather, you rest at here first, I need to fight with the monster.’ Then the boy takes out his sword run
behind the monster, the monster wants to hit him but the boy uses his sword to block its attack. ‘Little dog,
attack the monster! ‘The boy yells. Then the dog runs to the monster and bites it, the monster hurts it’s leg
and falls down. Then the boy uses his sword to kill the monster. ‘Hooray!’ the bird says. The secret sound
appears again, this time the sound says ‘One monster is left. You are now in Hong Kong and the monster is
in Macau. You need to walk by yourself.’ Then the sound disappears again, ‘Maybe we need to spend a lot
of time to travel to Macau, and I think it is tired too, so we can rest for one hour and start travelling. ‘The
boy says after one hour, they start walking towards Macau. ‘I guess we are in Hong Kong Island, we need to
go through a bridge if we want to arrive Macau.’ the dog says. One hour later, they arrived Macau, they feel
very tired. At night, they went to sleep in a park. After they wake up, the monster comes and starts fighting
with them. ‘Everyone, we need to win this fighting, after we win, we can leave the computer world’, the
boys grandfather says. Then the bird flies to back of the monster, but the monster catch it. The boy takes
out his sword and jump to the monster’s head, he attacks it and jumps to a tree. The monster is very angry
so it kicks the tree, then the boy jumps back to the ground. ‘Grandfather, let’s run to the monster together,
while I attack the monster, you can go to save the bird’ The boy says. The boy uses his sword to attack the
monster’s arm, the monster hurts it’s hand and throws the bird to the ground, luckily the boy’s grandfather
