Fiction: Group 2
“The Pearl River is a river made of lemonade. You can drink the lemonade from the river” exclaimed
Emma
When they arrived, Andy was very thirsty so he took a big gulp of lemonade. He drank and drank.
“So, let’s move on. Let’s go to the theme park, Jolly Jolly Land with its famous ride, The Jolly Little Roller
Coaster” Daniel said.
Andy didn’t hear that and kept drinking lemonade. When he had finished, Emma and Daniel were already
gone.
“Daniel! Emma! Where are you?” Andy called.
No reply. So he decided to find them. He walked and walked until he met another gummy bear, but it was
not Daniel.
Andy asked where he was and the gummy bear told him they were in Guangdong. Andy wanted to cry
because he would never
find his new friends. He sat by a tree and started thinking of ways to get back to
Shenzhen
Then he came up with the best idea ever. He would follow the Pearl River back to Shenzhen and there he
would hopefully
find them.
So he started moving, finding his way to the Pearl River Delta. After finding the river, he walked back all
the way to Shenzhen.When he reached Shenzhen he immediately spotted his friends Daniel and Emma.
They were calling his name.
“I’m over here!!” he shouted
Emma and Daniel looked at him and smiled.
“Where were you” Daniel asked
“I was in Guangdong” Andy replied
“At least he is safe” exclaimed Emma
“I like Candyland but I think it is time to go home. I would love to visit Candyland again soon” Andy
exclaimed
“So how do I go home?” Andy asked
“We can give you a portal that can transfer you back to your house in Hong Kong and everything will be
normal” Emma continued.
“Cool!”’ Andy said.
Emma showed Andy a tiny ball. She threw it on the ground and a big portal appeared in front of him.
“Bye Bye! I will visit you again” Andy told them before he stepped into the portal. In less than a second he
was already back home. Suddenly, his Mum walked out and asked him “What did you do today?” Jamie
told his Mum everything that had happened but his Mum would not believe him.
“When I go back to Candyland, I’ll take you with me so you’ll believe what I said” Andy exclaimed.
“Until you prove it, I will not believe you!!” Mum said
