Pico Iyer once said, “We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find
ourselves.” I had lost myself. I had lost myself in the crowd of the city streets. I had lost myself
between the tall skyscrapers. I had let the immense city lights dim my sparkle. I took that trip
to the Gobi desert, to find myself. To rediscover my hopes and dream. To evoke myself of my
passion. But most of all, I took that trip to remind myself, that there are places in the world, where
you could be miles away from another living soul. There are places in the world, where you could
be away from all your troubles and worries. There are places in the world, where you can scream,
you can shout and no one could hear you. There are places in this world, like the Gobi desert.
