never get better anymore.
Suddenly a huge flapping noise came from the small window still, followed by a bang when
the tough wall groaned on the impact of the fireball. The man stood back up and looked around at
the smoky place. A hole appeared and the middle of the wall, and Gobi was there! Gobi squeezed
in through the hole and pushed his head into the man’s arms. The man was so happy to see him
and wept for a while. Gobi stooped a little and gestured his back towards the man, liked saying
‘Hope on!’ The man was delighted and sat on Gobi’s back. With a dash, Gobi blew a larger hole on
wall and flew off.
The enemies were everywhere, burning houses down and killing hundreds of unarmed
villagers. Darkness was lightened up with fire and clangs of weapons went on under the moon.
Gobi was in color black, so enemies cannot see Gobi and the man when they attacked from
behind. When the enemies caught sight of Gobi and shoot arrows at him, the man use spells to
protect Gobi from being hurt.
After a number of fireballs blew the enemies up into the air, the leader of the Darkwood tribe
cried’ Ultimate attack! Connect the land mines and blow up the whole place. No one is stopping
me tonight!’
‘But master, our warriors are dying. We are no match with that dragon,’ the general replied
unconfidently. ‘Dragons? Aren’t they all dead?’ the leader barked at the general. ‘Sorry sir, there’s
really still one here …’
‘I don’t care! Just get the landmines!’
‘But master, the mines are under our feet, all over the place. If we blow ot up now we will all die.’
‘Destroying this place has been my dream when I was just nine. Don’t you dare accuse me of
anything! If you don’t do it now, I will skin you alive!’
‘Yes my master.’ The general ordered his soldiers, which was going to be the last order he
would ever give to anyone.
The man was still defending Gobi confidently, but he has no idea of what was going to
happen next, when the landmines were activated. After Gobi saw the landmines, he flew
backwards and stopped. ‘We almost got them all, don’t stop now. The mines won’t blow off so
easily, no one was there turning them on yet. Come on!’ the man said to himself anxiously.
In fact, most of them landmines were not exposed but under the ground. Gobi smell a lot of
landmines because of the irritating smell, so he was sure that the mines were far more than what
the man saw with his own eyes.
Beforehand Gobi had seen those landmines after one of his friends was blown up by them, and
he knew that such huge number of mines was going to blow up the whole place into tiny pieces.
Gobi stopped attacking and flew to land on the beach.
‘What are you doing? Why did you stop?’ Gobi threw him off his back onto the sand and
roared at him furious. ‘What’s wrong with you? Aren’t we a team?’ The man asked helplessly but
Gobi kept pushing him away. The man was knocked over and fell onto the ground, then Gobi
quickly took off, disobeying the man’s beg.
‘Come back you! How could you?’ the man cried on top of his lungs and tears streamed down
his face. The man ran to try to catch up with Gobi but it did not work. In the chase, he accidently
tripped over a wire on the sandy battlefield. He searched along with the wire and at last it led to
the ground, buried. He dug deep into the ground frantically and a landmine with word “explosive”
appeared on the surface. And there are about twenty to thirty wires connected to it. It was
