New Tales of the Pearl River Delta

was a girl that lived in Macau before. My parents were factory workers but they were fired because
they broke some expensive machines. They broke all the machines in the factory. They were very good
friends and fell in love when they were young. I was born in 1994 and they were married in the same
year.
One day, my parents found a new job. They went to a city which was far away from my little house. I
was very happy but they went back home one week later. They were fired again. They helped a fast food
shop deliver the food but they eat all the food. Their boss was very angry. I was very scared when I heard
this story. Then they found another job, and worked on a ship called Nook for half a year.
Another thing happened when I was fifteen. My mother got eaten by a shark near the Pearl River.
The shark later swam to a haunted ship and my mother became a vampire.
The magic jelly’s name was Melly, and she was born on Venus. Melly can live forever and not die
because she has magic. She is helping me because I need to do homework. Her teacher wanted her to help
people on Earth and make friends. She told me she studied in a school just like Harry Potter‘s school. She
needed to leave here after two months. Melly’s king wanted them to learn forever. She said she will visit
me.
One year after, I moved to another country. I moved to Russia. I lived very happily with my new
friends. I have learnt the Russian language before. There was a trend of someone singing pop music in
Russia at this time. I thought this trend will continue forever. I became a translator. I help them to translate
Putonghua so that they can talk to each other easier than before. I have a good life now. The jelly moved to
another place ten months ago. It was good also. It lives in the magic land now. We always write e-mail to
each other. It told me it will become a famous inventor. It is inventing magic water now. It said that this
water can make us become young forever. I found Melly was very hard working. I respect it very much.
We are both busy. She did not leave her home for one hundred days to invent this magic water. She was
now trying to invent some magic cloth. It can help us to not need to take a shower. However, it failed
because Melly was lazy. Then, Melly said: “We will live in the same place together in the future.”
We lived very happily for one year. One day, I planned to visit Melly. I wanted to give her a
surprise. However, I did not know how to get to Melly’s house so I went to Paris to go to the fashion week.
This trip was very interesting and surprising. I met Melly there. Both of us were delighted. We were so
happy we felt like we were over the moon. To my surprise, she wanted to have an adventure. She wanted
to see some ghosts and vampires because she wanted to invent a light. This light can know where the ghosts
are. I knew a place in Paris that had many ghosts. It was the most horrible and terrible cave. It will not
disappoint us. We were very excited. Everyone needed to visit the hospital after they went to the cave. It
was fantastic.
We go to the entrance carefully and quietly. The vampires were sleeping in their house. We did
not want to be eaten by the vampires. I have seen their house when I was ten years old. The house was
cute. It made me very surprised. I did not believe at first. When I saw the vampire, I believed it. It looks like
a strawberry. It was red, green and pink. There were no doors and windows because they do not need to
breathe and they can go anywhere any time but not in the morning. Melly was excited at first but she
wanted to get back when she saw the photo of the vampires. I followed her disappointedly.
Suddenly, a vampire woke up and followed me outside. The vampire was my mother. I finally
found her but she did not know who I am. I didn’t want to be eaten by her so I took a wooden stick and
stabbed her in the heart. I was a little sad but also happy because she can go to heaven.
After one year, I changed my job since I got back from Paris. I became a writer. I wrote novel
most of the time. I am writing a romantic story. I wrote a horrible story about ghosts and vampires. It was
very very popular so I wrote seven books into a collection. It was called ‘WHEN YOU SEE
SOMETHING!‘ But now, I am writing a romantic novel. I think it will have ten books. Maybe it will be
more popular than ‘WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING!’ I wanted to write it when I visited the Eiffel
Tower. It was very beautiful. The readers will love it very much. ‘WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING!’
made me admire J.K. Rowling because Harry Potter was interesting. The characters were interesting. The
story was happening at a secondary school. I hope the second book will be popular because it is a story
about a bird falling in love with a fish.
