illions of years ago, the Gobi Desert was a gorgeous place, as peaceful as heaven.
Animals lived there and they had enough food and water to live for billions of
years. Animals like dinosaurs and elephants lived in peace and harmony now, the
Gobi Desert is still green and fresh. The time before, something interesting happened
there, it used to be a piece of dead land.
People seldom visited the Gobi Desert, most of them are just curious about the myth which
happened there. Around three thousand years ago, the god set a rule about dinosaurs who are not
allowed to eat humans. The majority of the dinosaurs obeyed and followed the rule but some of
the headstrong dinosaurs were just inquisitive about humans. The pigheaded dinosaurs escaped
their territory in the Gobi desert and started a big feast. It was a disaster! Innocent people in
China were eaten by them! The god decided to severely punish the dinosaurs. He set a fire and
burnt all the trees and the lakes evaporated. In less than a minute, all dinosaurs had died and
none of the dinosaurs could survive. The desert became desolate for a few centuries.
One day, people began to travel there and found a fertilised dinosaur egg. They brought it to
a laboratory. Scientists and biologists felt so fascinated, they wanted to explore more about the
disaster and the environment of the dinosaur. The planned to return and brought the egg back to
the desert. ‘Crack’, a joyful sound stroked through the sky, all people around the Earth celebrated
it, but some of the people worried that the catastrophe would happen again. The distinguished
dinosaur was born with loneliness as it was the only dinosaur on Earth. Living there every day
was like hell, no food, no water, no friends and looking at a piece of dry land for twenty four
hours a day was torture. The dinosaur just wanted to end its life as fast as possible. Time goes on,
day after day, the dinosaur died and people around the world were crying and praying for it.
After the god noticed the death of the dinosaur, he realised he was wrong. He shouldn’t have
murdered all of the dinosaurs. A feeling of regret made his tummy rumble and he decided to do
something. He decided to ‘paint’ the desert, give life to the dinosaurs and suddenly the whole places’
spirit had lifted. However, a boundary was set; therefore they could only move in a certain place.
Now, the Gobi Desert is not a desert anymore, it turned into a safari: tourists will meet the so-
called extinct dinosaurs and a completely different look of the Gobi desert blossomed.
