Meanwhile back on-board…
“Captain, who is going to be the third mate since Lun Sun Mao was captured” asked Jake. (He’s one of the
buccaneers.)
“I am determined to find the man and bring him back” answered the Captain.
Chapter 8 – What Happened that Night
I have been working at this place for two weeks now. It’s also Chinese New Year so I am putting up
decorations.
Two days later the celebration began. When it became dark, something ginormous and floating appeared.
When it came closer, I could just make out a ship.
Meanwhile back on the boat, the Captain, Xavier and Felix were talking.
“Captain, when are we going to retrieve the poor Lun Sun Mao?” asked Felix. (He is the second mate).
“Why, it shall be tonight and we will go with Xavier” replied the Captain.
Chapter 9 – The Retrieval of Lun Sun Mao, the Third Mate.
It was close to 1am. The fireworks had been set off. All was quiet. The Captain, the first and second mates
were all paddling to shore.
“How will we find Lun Sun Mao?” asked Xavier.
“We are going to sneak into the left cave and search. Remember, he could be anywhere,” explained the
Captain.
It was now around 2am and we had been searching for what seemed like hours, when suddenly we heard a
noise. It was coming from inside a treasure chest and when we opened it, it was him!
Chapter 10 – Celebration
Back on the ship, we sailed to the docks and we celebrated for two weeks and told of our story.
