Fiction: Group 2
"How dare you are, ugly fairy! You came back with your friend, no use at all. With this Magic Pearl, I will
be the king of this River, and will be the king of the world soon. Ha Ha! “Laughed Miraut. Yan then
noticed it was sitting on a shining thing --- it was the Magic Pearl! She tried hard to get rid of the
tentacle, but the more she tried, the harder the tentacle surrounded her. Same as Padmava. Both of them
were tightened by the tentacles. Just a second, Miraut spilled ink from its mouth that stung their eyes. Both
Yan and Padmava felt very dizzy and painful. Padmava yelled, "No, it is the world for all the living things,
not you alone. Yan, try to distract Miraut. I need to do something." Then Yan tried her best to swim
closer to Miraut and then kicked its body. Padmava tried to do her ultimate spell with her weak body. She
used her utmost energy. With the distraction from Yan and spell from Padmava, Miraut moved a bit away
from the magic pearl. Then Padmava swam closer to the magic pearl. She at last touched the magic pearl.
With her last most energy, Padmava said her spell, "ami-ami-ami-la!" It was very powerful that shone the
whole river bottom. With a strong light shining, Miraut vanished suddenly.
Then Padmava sent Yan back to the land as the fairy dust would soon not work. Yan could not breathe in
the water anymore.
"Thank you very much, Yan, I mean it! The Pearl River is back to normal." said Padmava. "No, it is not
yet. The river is full of rubbish and waste. It is very polluted." replied Yan. "I'm afraid that it will be the
job of human. The Magic Pearl cannot fight against pollution. Goodbye, Yan, take good care of yourself!"
Padmava said.
"Yeah, take good care of world so it will take good care of me and everyone. Will I see you again?" asked
Yan. "Maybe." answered Padmava.
Both Yan and Padmava waved to say goodbye. “Although I am small, I am able to do something to take
care of the environment." Yan said to herself.
