My Dream
SKH YCMCJ Primary School, Ng, Cheuk Man - 11, Fiction: Group 2
ast week, our family went to the The Pearl River Delta for holiday.
We met some ancestors, they were playing card game but they did not realized us, so we
pretend to join them. While we were playing the game, we were chatting together and became friend.
They told us a legend, it was about Evil.
They said “There is an evil live in a hole and he will go out every 10 years, he will kill people and
use magic to turn animals into evil.” I was interested in it and I asked deeply. They told me that the evil
would come out after three days later. We should find the magical water which tastes salty. If we used the
magical water to splash on him then he would turn into an ant. Therefore, he could not kill people
anymore. As the proverb says, a friend in need is a friend indeed. We were friend so I would help them.
First, there was a pond which was in the middle of The Pearl River Delta, we tried to drink the
water but it was not salty. We felt very disappointed, one of us wanted to go back home. As the proverb
says, failure is the mother of success. We should not give up so we tried the found again.
On the next day, we started our adventure. When we were walking, we saw a man so we asked
him did he know about the pond. He said it was next to the hole that the evil live. He reminded us, it was
very dangerous and asked us to be careful. We thanked him and started again.
We found the magic water at last. One of us to pour some water to a bottle and walk towards him
quietly. When the evil was sleeping, he splash the water to him and he turned into an ant and caught by us.
We put it into a jar and pass it to our ancestors.
We had a party to celebrate the evil turned into ant. We tried to drink the magic water, we
changed into different famous singers. We performed one by one and we felt excited. Suddenly, I heard
“ring, ring, ring”. Oh! The bell rang, it was just a dream. I needed to wake up and go to school
immediately. I hoped I can play with our ancestors once.
