New Tales of the Pearl River Delta

hy can’t I go ? ’Amy asked angrily . Amy is a girl who is interested in geography and nature.
One day, she saw something that was amazing. After that ,she decided to go to Pearl River
Delta because the geography there was very peculiar. Unfortunately, Amy’s dad thought that
it was too dangerous for Amy so she didn’t able Amy to go to there.
One night, Amy crept out and she has written a price of paper on her parent’s desk. She saw a
kind-heart watch when she was walking. The watch used her special magic to help Amy to go to that place.
When Amy arrived, the horror things happened. She found that she was in a strange place far away from
home. ‘Oh no! I am flying!’ She shouted loudly but no one could hear it. She was invisible, maybe the
watch said the other spell. After that, she felt thirsty, she drank the water in the clean river. ‘Oh no! ‘she
shouted again .She turned into a ugly frog .when she became a frog ,she saw that the water inside the river
was very dirty. Pearl River Delta had a water pollution. It made lots of animals could not live .All of them
will die soon because of the dirty water .
The journey of Amy was not this simple. After a few minutes, Amy could not swam anymore. She
fell into the deepest place in the sea. She slept and never opened her eyes.‘Amy, Amy wake up!’a girl who
was a pretty genie called her. Amy was very frighten because she didn’t know where was it. Her eyes burnt
into tear and wanted to cry. The genie told her that the pollution of Pearl River Delta was very serious.
Maybe one day all the people living there will die and the genie’s home will destroy by the pollution .Next,
the genie bought her to the original face of Pearl River Delta was very large and the air there was very fresh
and made people felt comfortable. However, Pearl River Delta has the air pollution. It made by cars, ships,
factory because they release exhaust gas which were very bad. When she breathed the air , the strange things
happened again. She turned into the sea .she had a lot of dirty things around her body .She felt
uncomfortable.
‘Amy, Amy! Wake up!!’a man called her. ‘Where am I ?’asked Amy. When she woke up ,she couldn’t see
the pretty genie anymore .Although she was very disappointed ,she had learnt a precious lesson. She
proclaimed the massage to everyone to protect our environment. We could not destroy it. After few
months, Pearl River Delta had changed a lot. In contrast, there not only did not have worsen pollution,
there was an improvement in symptoms .In the end, it was just a wonderful dream for Amy .She had a
brilliant adventure also she knew the important of protect environment.
