emotion. In fact he had no emotion. As I braced myself for whatever might happen we step into
the light at the bottom of the pyramid.
“AGAIN! I told you before Little Confucius! BRING ME THE CHEMICAL E!!!” We stepped into
the light to see some mad scientist talking in a strange sort of Indian accent to a cat who seemed
to obviously be the ‘Little Confucius’ and to understand exactly what this mad scientist was
talking about. The mad scientist looked chubby, had spiky, short black hair, had a white jacket
that contained many notes, pens and weird things that were unable to identify, and was a little
short too. Before we could say anything in a detective way, obliviously, he exclaimed towards us
“Welcome guests! Welcome! I am Dr. Vidi and you are my first guests! I have never had anybody
come even though I thought it was quite a welcoming pyramid...” ‘No, duh, ’ I thought, ‘Heck this
place is nowhere near welcoming. I just spent 1 minute thinking I was going to die while I walked
down a dark scary staircase down to here!’ “Now!” Dr. Vidi yelled gleefully making me jump and
almost make a karate pose, “First, before I introduce you to anything, I must inspect you in my
guest book. So, one as I can see, is tall, handsome, black hair, stylish, sporty, must be good at
soccer, doesn’t look like a romantic, seems humorous…” as he went on I felt more cocky then ever,
and I felt pretty good, since he had said I was handsome but the next thing he said surprised me
because I didn’t think anyone knew me as much as he would have, “you must be Michael Hong,
I’ve heard about you and your discovering to who the murderer was to the case of the uncountable
murders in boat trip to Hawaii!” Even Mo seemed astonished. Dr. Vidi then started describing
what he saw in Mo and guessed who he was too, “Next, tall, skinny, suspicious looking, wearing

that I don’t understand, and if I must add, there is also some very weird and suspicious looking
aliens ” Dr. Vidi told us. “Excuse me,” I said “How long have you not been out of...here?” “Oh, I
don’t know, give or take, around 40-50 years?” He answered, then whispered “I’m not that fond of
outside you know?” Nodding, Mo and I shared a look of he-doesn’t-seem-harmful-so-should-we-
just-go? Dr. Vidi, unaware and incognizant of our expressions kept talking, and as he talked, we
found out that he was actually not that insane as we thought he was. “For years, my dream has
been to create something no one else can! I am creating an medicine to cure all people from any
disease no matter what disease they have! Of course on the way I made things like the continuous
Popcorn maker that is attached to the T.V I made that could watch anything! I’ve also made a bed
that gives you good dreams and also a purple sandy powder that puts you straight to sleep if you

As we continued our conversation with Dr. Vidi, we told him that about the suspicious “aliens”
outside his pyramid and all about the world. We also told him that his pyramid was causing some
attention to the news that he found ‘awesome’ but we informed him it wasn’t a good thing. Finally
he agreed that he would move to an unknown island that hadn’t been discovered yet, which we
also told him that that plan would fail because there were monitors watching the world but of
