eaters’ prison so Jack shared some of his resources with them and they decided to explore the
desert with Jack together. Jack felt glad because some of them were professional adventurers and
they would help Jack a lot. After having some new members, Jack and his teammates moved on.
This time, Jack made some metal weapons in order to fight with the man-eaters. They met man-
eaters again two days after they left the oasis. However, with the metal weapons, Jack and his
teammates won the man-eaters easily and the victims were released. Suddenly, a snake came
out of the sand and attacked Jack’s teammates. Although Jack finally used an axe to kill the
snake, some of his teammates had died. Jack observed the body of the snake and realized that it
was a new type of snake so he brought the body with him. He and the other teammates kept on
exploring. In the next two days, Jack and his teammates discovered many new types of animals
and he found that climate in the north part of the desert was not very extreme and there were
some plants. Jack dropped down everything in his notebook. They kept walking and walking and
Jack soon felt tired that he even saw mirages so he decided to take a nap. He kept sleeping until
midnight and he realized that it was colder at night as they were moving north. It was almost
eight o’clock when they continued their journey. It only took them a few hours to get to the north
edge of the desert. They then decided to go back to their starting point.
After Jack had arrived at the starting point, he immediately built sepulchers for his dead
teammates and he also disclosed the secrets of the Gobi desert by selling his notes to adventurers
who wanted to explore the Gobi Desert. He hoped his notes could help adventurers to avoid
getting hurt in the Gobi Desert.
