Fiction: Group 2
Luckily, Jaydon and some other adult dolphins discovered us. They dashed towards us and saved us by
pulling the fishing net apart so we could escape. We were finally free from any harm. Immediately, we
thanked Jaydon and all these adult dolphins for their help.
When I was a child, my grandma told me that the Pearl River Delta area was a very quiet, clean and fresh
place in the past. She could even see the river bed clearly through the water, but not now. Every day, she
played hide-and-seek with her friends after school. But, she said it was difficult to "hide" because they
could find each other so easily.
In the end, we still had not found a place that is good for us dolphins to live. People still keep on polluting
the rivers and the seas. The noise they make affects our sonic transmission system of hearing and talking
with other dolphins. Dolphins are poisoned by the dirty rubbish, which does not allow them to breathe... I
hope people will change their attitudes and behaviours. I hope they stop polluting the water, the Pearl
River, the sea, the ocean and "our home".
Honestly, I hate that my beautiful river is being destroyed. Soon, we will have nowhere else to live.
Human should not just think of themselves and stop being so selfish. They need to care for others and think
of other living creatures and animals, like us, the Chinese White Dolphins.
If they do not change, the Chinese White Dolphins will be no more. We will all disappear one day. So,
the children, and friends of dolphins, will not have a chance to see and play with us again.
