Fiction: Group 2
“Yes!” Replied Jinny.
As they had thought, the robber gang came out and rested at a place not far away from the building. Jinny
pretended to be a girl passing by and thought they were singers and asked for an autograph.
“OMG!!! Singers! Can I have an autograph? Please, please!” Jinny fake-begged.
While Jinny was attracting attention, the wise mouse secretly put some sleeping pills inside their water. (I’m
not very sure where the wise mouse got those sleeping pills!)
After Jinny left, the robber gang all drank water and fell asleep. Jinny quickly got out of her hiding spot and
took out the gem from a suitcase.
“Oh great Pearl River Gem, may you grant me a wish, bring me home to my own time, in 2015!” Jinny
chanted a made-up spell.
Suddenly, she felt dizzy and heard the wise mouse say: “Bye Jinny!”
The next morning, Jinny woke up in the bed she slept in yesterday, and thought ‘maybe it was all a dream!’
But somewhere far away, maybe a different time period, a small mouse winked.
