Never Leave

nce there was this girl named Alexa. She was 9 years old. From the moment she could walk, she
dreamt of going to the Pearl River Delta. Luckily, her family (which includes her baby brother, her
mom and her dad) were going to go to Hong Kong for the holiday.Alexa was really truly exited.
Her mom called out from the kitchen,“Alexa, dear, are you all packed?”
Alexa shouted,“Yes, mom, I’m ready!!!”
“Okay dear, come downstairs!”
Alexa hurried down the stairs and took a family picture sat in the cab.When they arrived at the
airport Alexa was so excited to go to Hong Kong.They got on the plane and said bye to Australia. On the
plane Alexa ate the lamb special, which is lamb and vegetables and rice she drank Coca- Cola.Then finally
they landed in Hong Kong.
Alexa was so happy to be in Hong Kong.They got of the plane and into a different cab to the hotel
they stayed it was called Four Seasons.After, they put their stuff down,Alexa was surprised that it was a five
star hotel and so she asked her mom,“Why are we in a five star hotel and why are we just sitting around”?
Her mom replied “Oh honey, we don’t have enough money to explore the city because we wasted it on the
hotel.The food and beverages are free, but we still have enough money to get the other flight and to catch a
cab to the airport.”
Alexa was really disappointed but she had a plan…
The next day Alexa said to her parents that they could go before her because she had to have a
shower. Her mom said,“Well, they do have a 100% security system, so okay come down soon.”Alexa just
watched as they went out the door and when they closed the door,Alexa took of her robe and packed her
bags. She quietly opened the door to see if they left and she crept out. She used her allowance to pay for the
cab that she was going to catch to the Pearl River Delta.When she was in the cab some tears came out and
she cried quietly…
When she reached the Pearl River Delta she looked around and she saw that there was garbage
everywhere she remembered that she wanted to find treasure so she stated digging up things. Suddenly, she
looked up she saw a tall man hovering over her. She said hello and the man said “Ah, it’s never gonna work. I
remember when I ran away, ” the guy told Alexa a long story about himself. He persuaded her to go home
and be with her family.Alexia thanked the man got a cab and went home she was rejoined with her family
and they took a plane home with her family.
